Born in 1992 in Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture, live and work in Osaka. After graduating from Osaka University of Arts of Design, SHUN NAKAO became a freelance illustrator. Starting around 2020, He focused on artist activities.

At the same time, he also worked as a painter for the art group “TOUMEI KAISEN” , which was formed by the same university in 2012. From an early age, he was in 80’s fashion and music, Visualizing the discomfort and environment that he feels while living under the influence of manga culture and anime.

SHUN NAKAO is making works with the theme of doing. He has produced works in various fields collaborating with various companies such as NEW BALANCE, Sony, magazine pages, and live mural paintings.
